Did my sea cucumber die?

I own a pink bacteria filter feeding sea cucumber and my tank is pretty new... I found out after that its hard to keep sea cucumbers. But i thought it would be alright, well today i see my cucumber is hunched over but still attached to its rock, my urchin is in its area and i see broken urchin spines. I dont know if they got in a little feud or what but my cucumber has it tenticles retracted and is hunched over...|||I would ask this in the biology section. you can find some good facts about this online.
