Can I still eat Sea Cucumber?

Is it okay to eat an animal named a vegetable name? Not that these things taste good, mind you. And let's face it, on the cute scale, this thing is somewhere between trench warfare and oak bark. Plus! It is probably dumber than a Michael Moore movie. So, rapacious devourers of our semi-sentient vegetal brethren, what say you?|||Holothuroideas or Sea Cucumbers are much smarter then a Michael Moore movie, I suggest you read up on them. They are animals so you can't call yourself a vegetarian and eat them.|||I would say no, personally. Never tried one though and don't want to!|||Bluck that's like going to Cicily where NO part of the cow is uneaten. Lol sea cucumber are dumb they leave a gigantic trail on the ocean floor. I wouldn't want to eat one whether it was legal or not.|||It is seafood, just because it has a vegetable name doesn't mean it is edible though, but it is very popular in Japanese cuisine. There are also sea sponges but you wouldn't use it to clean dishes.
