Where I can buy sea cucumber?

Yesterday in the class people discuss something about sea cucumber, they said it is very delicious, is that true?

Where I can buy sea cucumber?

By the way, I can also call it holothurian, right?

|||Sea cucumbers is good for the health and because of the high demand for the food, it drives the price up. They are usually sold by the pound and it can be quite costly.

In Canada here, we have the option of buying it soaked in water (meaning, fresh) or frozen in the freezer aisle. You can find them in most (if not all) Asian Supermarkets.

You may want to make it into a soup, just to get the real taste of the item. Try making it with Chicken broth and Shitaki (Asian) mushrooms. If you like, you can also add in some pre-soaked dried preserved mini shrimps (these are really flavourful). Hope this piece of information is at help!! =D|||You may not want to, the sea cucumber industry is completely unregulated and populations are declining incredibly due to this demand. Mind you, you might want to try it now, because with this amount of consumption, in a while they might not be here anymore.|||you can buy it at chinatown,if you're in singapore there's a lot of sea cucumber in the market, spicially at young tau fo stall...
